Super Size Me is an Academy Award-nominated 2004 fast food documentary by independent filmmaker Morgan Spurlock in which he set out to educate about obesity and fast food health consequences by eating nothing but McDonalds meals for a whole month. According to the terms set for the experiment, he had to accept every time he is asked if he wants to supersize his order.
The documentary was a huge success and lifted Morgan into fame, thanks not only to its gimmick but also its light comedic tone and interesting interview subjects and statistics.
